We seek to publish only the absolute best poetry, and reviews of poetry being written today. We only accept solicited submissions at this time. Work may have been published previously in other books or journals, but proper credit will be given.
Moon Water Press appreciates shorter lyrical work which often includes narrative threads. Experimental work is not out of the question by any means, though we do lean towards tradition in many instances.
Moon Water Press's favorite authors include: Louise Gluck, Frank O'Hara, Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Emily Dickinson, Richard Siken, Karen Brennan, Lucile Clifton, John Berryman, and many other artists.
